Currently, our services are available in all 58 counties of California.

Which courts accept e-filing?

In California, new courts accept e-filing every month. eFile Expert is available for e-filing in all eligible counties and our staff works in-person at locations that don’t e-file.

I need hundreds of forms filed this week. Can you help with that?

Our website is built to file large batches of documents all at once. By filing in large quantities like this, we both save time and effort at no added cost to you.

What are the prices for each service?

How long does a court filing take?

This depends upon the court and the courts availability. 

How long does e-filing take?

eFile Expert completes all electronic filing assignments the same business day as requested.

How long does it take to locate a person or business?

Normally 24-48 hours.

What is the cut-off time for an e-filing?

4 PM PST business days.

What is the cut-off time for an in-person filing?

2 PM PST business days.

When do I get a conformed copy of an an e-filing?

We will send it to you as soon as it’s available from the court.

We will send it to you as soon as it’s available from the court.

How many attempts will you make at the address I provide?

We will make 3 attempts at process service regardless of the speed of service (same-day, next-day, or standard).

Do you provide a Proof of Service or Proof of Non-Service?

Yes, we will transmit it to you electronically.

What happens if the address is incorrect for process service?

eFile Expert offers locate searches to find the most up-to-date address for service.

What forms of payment are accepted?

A check or credit card is required.

Will eFile Expert automatically deliver a courtesy copy when required by the court?

No, this has to be requested by you.
